A little about me…
I have enjoyed a 20 plus year career in interior design my way, under the radar. I’ve never advertised or carried business cards. I’ve always gotten my kicks from making my clients spaces feel good to them where they are in life. I am better at most everything I am...wife, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, friend, when I feel good at home. I design that way for my clients....if they feel better and can relax in their home, they too can be better at their life. Now, with young and enthusiastic assistants friends and nieces it’s time to shift gears ...I’m not going to go full bore into social media, but I am going to share things I love and spaces that I have been able to make “better” for my clients. I work on projects of all scales...large homes from the ground up to the last pillow and bedrooms that have been put to the back of the list & all things in between. Unlike what so many think is a glamorous gig, good design is hard work. I have a great team that makes my job easier.
Having grown up in Jackson, Mississippi as the youngest of three and the only girl I had the opportunity to cruise around antique stores and shops with my mother. I learned from a pro, not a designer or antiquarian, but my mother who had a way of doing home that made everyone old and young relax and enjoy themselves. Although I wasn’t aware of it at the time, . And even better it was easy for me!
I got a business degree from Ole Miss in the 80’s before the time of “the dorm room”, but my room and apartment always had a pulled together look...it was easy for me to pull together a hodgepodge of pieces and make the best of them. During years of working in cellphone sales, my friends were asking me to help them “do” their bookcases. We’d end up shoving furniture around and rehanging their art and they’d feel better in their homes. One of earliest memories of “my design” was flipping through a fabric book at my aunt’s and telling her which fabric she should use to reupholster a chair. She actually listened to her 10 year old niece! I still remember the stripe “we” put on that chair!
We take the stress out of financial planning. Proin gravida ex id consectetur lobortis. Aliquam ornare, velit vel faucibus dapibus, augue justo.
